Kachina Wuqti

Kachina Wuqti

from 50.00

Around the turn of the century, a branch of the Smithsonian Institution commissioned a Hopi artist to document the scope of the supernatural Kachina beings that appear in their cycle of religious ceremonies. The resulting body of work, some 260 hand-drawn images, is one of the most important visual resources preserving the physical aspects of these unique and important religious figures. I have compiled some of my favorites here... they are sure to bring the spirit and magic of the Land of Enchantment into your home! Fully restored and printed in finest detail on heavyweight archival 100% cotton fine art paper.
